After the passing of thier daughter, the Covey family created Bridle Up Hope to help other women and young women find connection, empowerment and healing through horses using the "Seven Habits of Highly Effective People". Spiders in her bed and snakes in the rafters. Emily shares what it was like to be a new nursing student deep in the villages along the Amazon River. Joining a team of doctors, nurses and other students, they were tasked with performing community surveys among the families there. The people were incredible, but she learned the help we try to give these communities can sometimes be quite far off the mark. 

The jungles of Peru have many secrets, but the most incredible of all is the hidden stone city of Machu Picchu. Built in the 1400's by the Inca's, it was tucked away until it was discovered again in 1911. Emily shares THE best way to get to this hidden city is through the way the Inca people did - The Inca Trail.

Heaps Canyon is the BIGGEST, knarliest, canyon in Zions National Park. Sporting a 560 ft rappell, it cranks up the adventure. Jamie shares great basic canyoneering skills and then dives into a play by play of this epic canyon. 

This episode will MELT your HEART! The Covid epidemic was hard on Tijuana. Especially the vulnerable. From an Aides orphanage, to a father who just lost his brother to Covid while they were building his home, Marilyn and Erica share the hope and love they and thier families gave and found helping this incredible community in Tijuana.

How do you inspire your children to appreciate life and love people? Serving the children and families of Tijuana, Mexico. That's what Marilyn and Erica discovered over Christmas Break 2021. The non-profit organization, "Spark of Hope Foundation" has been building homes for poverty-stricken families in Tijuana for over 20 years. Marilyn and Erica share how the trip changed thier lives and the lives of thier children.

Lima, Peru has many hidden gems. From the ancient to the adorable. Akaila shares her explorations through this diverse city and beyond.

The emerald, towering mountains of the Peruvian Andes fill the soul for climbers and adventurers. Akaila went, however, to help a small Andean village build the foundation for a women's art and handicraft market. With no ability to speak Quechuan, she learned how to communicate with joy and love with the children and women there.
